The NAct system enhances a standard access control system by adding short or long range RFID readers. This system allows access without having to stop, roll down a window and present a credential. This system is ideal for locations with heavy truck or vehicle traffic. The NAct reader(s) monitor the defined area around the controlled gate or door. When a credential is seen, the information is forwarded to the Access Control System for authorization. Works with the majority of Access Control Systems
NAct can work will the majority of Access Control Systems in the marketplace, as the RFID hardware can be configured to match the Access Control's card format. Use the security features of your current Access Control Systems including Site Codes for additional security.

Use Active or Passive RFID Technology
Based on installation requirements, either Active or Passive RFID hardware can be used as part of the system. Active RFID hardware is used for heavy truck or vehicle traffic where Passive RFID hardware is used for smaller Access Control Systems, such as Community or Small Business access.

Option to use an a stand-alone Access Control System
Don't have an Access Control System? NAct can be used in stand-alone mode - Where the system monitors the RFID readers at the access points and determines if the person is authorized to enter, then opens the gate/door. Includes standard reports an activity.
