NEAT is the premier NControl Asset Tracking and Reporting application. It continually monitors connected hardware for the presence of RFID tags. Once it detects a tag, NEAT gathers information from the RFID reader about the tag and reader: date, time, tag number, battery age, signal strength and reader number and store the information in an Open Database Compliant database. Users can designate readers as part of specific groups related to reader location, position, relationship to each other and enhanced functionality groups.Tracking Assets Essential to your Operations
NEAT displays event information in a web-based format and offers options to view information in real-time or use a number of reports for historical information. NEAT can join specific information about assets to the RFID tag, enhancing the quality of information contained in the reports. -
Records and displays asset locations and movement history
The NEAT System includes a number of standard reports that display current asset locations as well as historic reports on asset location and movement history. These reports allow users to view information based on the asset, by location or by specific event.
-
Reuse tags without loss of historic information
NEAT functionality includes an option to archive asset information on a RFID tag. Using this option, the tag can be reused without losing the history on the previous tagged asset. NEAT reports can display asset movement information on all archive assets.
-
Registers all events from any connected hardware
NEAT determines, from the defined hardware structure, the expected information from the hardware and responds accordingly on how to store and react to the event. NEAT determines if the data is a one-time event or part of an ongoing data stream.
-
Shows the Real-time location of all RFID tags
NEAT continually monitors for the presence of tags. NEAT will dynamically update location information every time a RFID tags is detected at a reader and the reports in NEAT will reflect any change in location. NEAT reports display all location changes per asset.

Optional NEAT system modules are designed to enhance the functionality of the system These modules include the ability to control gates and doors, integrate with access control systems, add camera functionality or use specific events to cause actions when they occur. Others offer enhanced reporting functionality or alarms when rule violations occur. Use individually or combine them to add more control to your Asset Tracking system.
-
Detects the direction of tag movement
By using the optional Gate Logic Module and paired reader sets, one inside a portal and one outside, NEAT is able to determine direction of travel, based on which readers see the tags first. Based on direction of travel, NEAT can display all assets in or out of an area.

NEAT can be used to control doors, gates and cameras
NEAT offers ancillary applications that can use asset location information to control security devices. When a tag is detected at a specific reader, these applications will open or close an IP configured contact device that can open a secure door or activate a camera.

Display Alarms when defined conditions occur
The NEAT Alarm Service allows NEAT to generate alarms when predefined events occur. When the event is seen, an alarm message will be forwarded to NEAT workstations. The workstations will display the alarm and will have the ability to dismiss alarms as they occur.

NEAT can joining tags together for enhance features
Tags can be designated in the database as either a 'child' or 'parent'. NEAT monitors the readers to determine if one of each is tag type is at the reader at the same time. If so, the Parent/Child system will indicate the joining and can some action based on the event.

Monitor Time and Attendance of Personnel
The Time and Attendance module works in conjunction with the NEAT Gate Logic to determine personnel direction in and out of the facility and calculate the total time in or out of the facility. Reports display total time in facility by asset or by day, week, month or year.

Track location and movement of facility visitors
The Visitor Service uses the RFID tracking hardware already installed to monitor visitors as they move around your facility. Use the system to check in/out visitors, designate responsible party and expected time in the facility. Account for all visitors in an emergency.

Ensure equipment inspections are done timely
Inspection Date Monitoring cross-references an item's inspection date against the current date and notifies the user if any items require inspection. This NEAT component can be used to monitor any type of item that requires a periodic action to be performed.

Graphical Display of all Assets monitored by NEAT
The NVision module uses the asset location information gathered by the NEAT System to display their location on a user-supplied map of the facility. Each users has the ability to load up to eight different maps to focus on different areas within the facility.

Determine if assets are in or out of the facility
NEAT Toggle Zones uses a single reader at each of your facilities' access points to determine if assets are in the facility or have left. The module monitors these readers and when an asset passes, the system determines whether the asset is coming or going.

Monitor different types of assets with a single application
NEAT allows the user to define different asset types that can be used to monitor different assets with a single application. Each asset type has unique information fields that are specific to the asset. Users can search and display information based on these unique asset types.
