The NCount Mobile Inventory System uses one or more RFID Handheld Scanners to perform inventories and automatically transmits the inventory information to a dedicated NCount Server. The system allows users to perform inventories quickly and easily and move from location to location without having to reset the scanner or to cradle the device for an inventory download. Since multiple scanners at the same location at the same time, inventory teams can use NCount to quickly inventory entire stores or warehouses. Once inventories are completed, managers can view and finalize inventory results by location, determine missing assets or view past information on asset location. NCount can be used as a stand-alone inventory system or can be integrated with NControl's NEAT or CIOS Systems.Automated Your inventory system - save time and money
NCount includes a User Interface with reports that display asset information, search options to find the last location of assets and historic reports on asset movement. -
Perform Inventories Efficiently with Minimum Personnel
NCount is designed to use multiple scanners simultaneously to perform inventories at a single location, or multiple locations at the same time and forward information as it is seen by the scanner. Less paperwork - faster results - fewer personnel.
-
Intuitive design with little training needed
NCount was designed to be used with little or no training. Simply power up the scanner, start the NCount application, hold the trigger and move around the area. The scanner will display items as they are seen and forward them to the NCount Server.
-
Review inventory information before it is finalized
The system is designed so Managers can review the inventory at each location before it is finalized in the system. Based on past levels, Managers can decide if area re-scans are required and have them done while personnel are still on site.
-
Find which assets are missing from the last inventory
NCount's Master Missing Inventory Report displays all assets that are missing from the last inventory, where they were last located or if an asset has been moved to a different area. Users can used this information to find missing assets quickly.
-
forwards tag information when assets are seen
NCount uses the location's Wi-Fi network to forward tag information as soon it is seen by the scanner. If no network is available, NCount will store up to 5000 records (based on scanner's memory) and forward when it reaches a defined Wi-Fi network. Docking stations are available for non-Wi-Fi environments.
-
Integrates with other NControl or third party systems
NCount design and structure allows for easy integration with other Asset Tracking Systems. NCount can perform inventories and forward inventory information to any application at utilizes an ODBC compliant database structure.
Don't replace your system - upgrade it.
-
Use NCount to find missing or misplaced assets
The NCount scanner application has the option to find lost or misplaced assets in your facility. Users simply enter the Asset Tag Identification Number (TagID) into the NCount Radar feature and scan the area. The application will display the asset on the scanner's screen when the asset is within the scanner range.
-
Enroll assets into the system using the server or scanner
NCount offers two ways to enter asset information into the system - either by entering the information into the Add Asset tab in the NCount Server, or by scanning the asset with the scanner and entering the information. NControl also offers bulk asset information transfers from Excel, Access or other databases.
